My heart skipped a beat...

Once again, Verena, you blend the qualities of painting and photography into a new medium that seems to go a little beyond both. So much sensuality of paint, perhaps applied to a wet surface, but here as dampness on glass oozing our photographic vision. This sexy, luminous hallucination is an eye stopper for sure! And yes, my heart skips a beat. Wonderful work as always and a great surprise of mood.

I have now spent more time contemplating this lively vision and must comment on the extraordinary color in this work. The pale lemon colored foreground blobs floating over the gorgeously murky reds, blacks, greens and blues. Like a great piece of music, this visual landscape holds a vast variety of color harmonies. One cannot stop looking at this photo, as its capacity to emit pleasure seems never to cease. Wonderful work, Verena.
