I encourage fellow followers to slowly scrowl up this deeply felt series of winter photographs. What is uncanny is that each entry seems to be a step upward, a step into further richness. Today's photo thoroughly fulfills this heavenly stairway theroy. What a glorious crown we have here today! What heart stirring dissonance and harmony we here in the tension of these colors. The foreground of floating translucent orbs smeared with light through which shadows play rests magically on a background of late afternoon winter sky laced with tendrils. The weight of these mystical jewel-like fruits so full and bursting with life and fertility whose palette of blue, green, purple, yellow and orange/red are so other than their background and so magnetically at one with it also. And, of course, besides the profound beauty of the colors the composition is to die for. Thanks, Verena
