This most "traditional" image on Paris Bird is also one of my favorites. The detailing of the leaves in this porcelain-like image of other worldly crepuscular light brings forth in the mind a Proutian recall that is more vivid than life itself. We are transported into all we have never had. Pure magic in this haunting evocation of a lost time, a lost life, a place we so crave for in the deepest pockets of our soul.

The curving path, the delicate light on the pink blossoming tree, the branches reaching down from above, the most gentle puff of cloud above the tree line, the deeply felt brush of light on the central green tree and then below the light on the trunk of another tree, an object far into the depth of this very very great image.
