What gorgeous colors!! The out of focus, sightly overexposed background takes the mind a few moments to totally comprehend. What seemed like a complete abstraction slowly takes shape as buildings and sky, but with colors so unearthly due to the particularities of overexposure. All this so sublimely in union with the silhouetted foregroun surround! An unusual image for the Paris Bird, but one so very welcome with its invigorating palette.

Wonderful how this is almost frame only, leaving so much space for imagination. Of course: this could be my window ....

A week late I return to looking at this image. Now, suddenly, all is more obvious. We are looking through a slightly frosted sheet of glass. How odd not to have see this at first, but now luckily, it all so clear, so to speak.
