Blue-gray, yellow, and the palest of lavenders, all afloat behind and of the delicacy of rain. What unexpected pleasures lurk a passing phone booth. Oh, Paris Bird, you never cease to amaze! Thank you for this seasonal jewel.

There are rumors that I have completely misunderstood the actual source of this image and I must apologize, for what we have here, is the steamy condensation within a flower shop window on a very cold winter's day, and the mysterious yellows are spring-like daffodils courageously blooming in frozen Paris's most very cold January.

All that aside... this marvel of surface patina and delicate color range remains a painterly mystery.
